Chloe are currently looking for a Retail Intern to support across both office based and boutique operations, for a fixed term period of 6-9 months.
Purpose
Under the leadership and supervision of the Operations Manager, the Retail Performance Intern (RPI) implements actions in fields related to Retail Operations/ Performance, Back of House Training, Logistics improvements and Customer Service. RPI supports the Retail Department and works in line with the Maison’s strategic plan and in contact with both the Europe Operations, Merchandising and central Retail Management.
Key Responsibility – Retail Operations and Performance
Submit to Regional team and/or Retail Manager:
· Weekly Sales Reports by store and by country with key KPIs
· Monthly actual sales vs budget
· Month-end Reports, Key Retail Indicators
· Other reports on a project basis such as competitors’ analysis, sales staff performance, etc
Support Retail Ops Manager in the implementation of action plans relating to Stock community training
Bi-Monthly Retail Meeting
· Follow up with Retail Manager on the Meeting agenda and communication to the team
· Take minutes of meeting and ensure accountability is assigned to each person for subsequent follow-ups
Boutique openings and store design projects:
· On-site support on administrative tasks (PO, invoices …)
· Coordination with regional store planning team and third parties involved to facilitate a smooth process.
Support Boutique Operations:
· Assist in organizing events - e.g. set-up, coordinating the logistics/travel arrangements for / catering, models, deliveries
· Consolidate feedback - e.g. for marketing purpose
· Other Administration - e.g. liaise between boutiques & A/C, Admin & IS&O dept / finance
Key Responsibility – Back Office Support & Improvement
· Support the Retail Teams by spending 2 to 3 days a week in store:
· Work closely with Stock Manager in important tasks to be completed
· Monitor and help with Weekly deliveries for all stores (ensure SAP is always clear)
· Monitor and help with Weekly transfers in all stores (ensure SAP is always clear)
· Ensure that all BOH processes are understood by all the team members across all sites
· Be an ambassador of our In store system and ensure to train all managers and teams if needed on it (SAP)
· Communicate with Operations Managers on points of improvement in all BOH areas
· Create Packaging and uniforms orders for all retail stores in the system
· Help with the organisation of local Events and Pop-Ups
· Help with set up of new suppliers, review current ones
