MAIN PURPOSE
Main Purpose of the role is to plan and implement overall events, sales promotions in line with company strategy as well as to provide brand experiences to Press, clients and general consumers and set targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities 1: Events / Sales Promotion events Planning
- Create an event brief and define event objectives and target audience based on the company strategy and annual business plan
- Develop event contents remaining current or ahead of the curve with trends in event planning, design and production and proactively identify and solve operational challenges
- Explore new venues to implement appropriate events for press, clients and general consumers inside or outside of boutique
- Execute events to increase affinity with Cartier and deepen the engagement between target audience
- Organize the logistics/mechanics for events effectively
- Comply with legal, insurance, health and safety regulations at all times
Key Responsibilities 2 Events / Sales Promotion events Execution
- Execute events, sales promotion seamlessly in a consistent manner with key message of each event delivered to targets
- Ensure excellence in execution to keep the Maison Standard in every single event
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise on event day
Key Responsibilities 3: Client Experiences at events
- Build an understanding of our clients and oversee client experiences from conception
- Offer a unique experience to create a specific link between the target audience and the Maison through event activities
Key responsibility 4: budget management
- To be responsible for the budgets in compliance with quality and deadline and develop the budget allocation
Key Responsibilities 5: Cross-functional collaboration and external vendor control
- Identify external vendors/partners and manage & negotiate to deliver the best quality of execution as Cartier standard at events
- Collaborate with other departments & HQ to develop a consistent event concept in line with Maison’s strategy
REQUIREMENT
- Project Management
- Capable of creating clear and articulate roadmaps for a department project with clear understanding of the essential team to achieve the objectives
- Can take responsibility and lead small to middle size of projects/events when required
- Able to engage as a project leads to sculpt a clear and insightful brief
- Problem Solving
- Define and solve the problems
- Understands the local strategic direction and how it contributes to the global direction
- Ability to handle pressure
- Interpersonal and communication skills, written & oral, in Japanese and English
Required experience:
- Proven success in event management
- Project coordination / management experience
Technical skills / abilities:
- Language: Japanese (native level), English (business level), French is a plus.
- PC skill: (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
