YOUR MISSION:
Assist the Store Manager in the day-to-day store operations. In line with Company policies and Store Management guidelines, ensure efficient operations management for dedicated managerial tasks such as staffing issues, planning shifts / rotas and / or customer issues / complaints in order to improve customer service and enhance customer satisfaction.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
Assist the Store Manager in the day-to-day store operations. Ensure efficient operations management for dedicated managerial tasks such as staffing issues, planning shifts/rotas, and addressing customer issues/complaints to improve customer service and enhance customer satisfaction. Demonstrate the most valuable features/attributes of the product/service; lead a team of demo specialists to bring the highest value to customers during demonstrations. Lead teams that deliver product/service information; adhere to predefined messaging/positioning of product/service. Supervise day-to-day operations to achieve operational sales performance goals. May be responsible for a small store or for several departments within a store. Lead teams that record/process customer orders. Respond to more advanced issue escalations promptly and appropriately; provide managerial approvals as required. Assign short-term work schedules to a team of subordinates to achieve expectations while following established timelines. Look for opportunities during service interactions to bridge customer needs to additional products/services offered by the organization. Set clear objectives for each sales call or meeting; use standard materials to make a presentation to the customer; and ask relevant questions to evaluate the customer's level of interest and identify and respond to areas requiring further information or explanation. Develop and implement a customer contact plan to communicate product launches and engage potential customers in relevant sales campaigns to build new relationships. Act as the first point of contact for customer queries and complaints and resolve them, referring complex issues to others and ensuring that the customer receives an appropriate response. Identify the products or services that best meet the customer's stated needs, use personal expertise to propose quantities and product configurations, explain the selection to the customer, and invite the customer to make a purchase at the standard price/terms and conditions of sale. Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media. Respond to personal objectives and use performance management systems to improve personal performance; or monitor the performance of the team, allocate work and review completion, take appropriate corrective action to ensure timeliness and quality, and contribute to formal individual performance management and appraisal.
