Accountant (1-Year Contract)

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

Our RFBO (Retail Finance Back Office) Accountant acts as business partner and key contact point of responsible Maison(s) for finance matters to support retail business operations & controls. 

·  Business Partnering: Provide insights, challenge and explain business risks and control in daily operations and projects. Support business Omni-channel development and digitalization
·  Retail AR & Financial Reporting: Monitor boutiques sales and collections, manage credit card reconciliation, cashflow forecast, and ensure compliance with IFRS & Gorup guidelines
·  Maison’s Retail Operations Support and Control Activities: Conduct analysis of gift certificates, manage stock positions, and coordinate control monitoring over retail and e-commerce processes. Monitor Anti-Money Laundering (AML) activities
·  Business support & process automation: Streamline and automate operating processes, identify and drive system improvements, and support digitalization and data visualization initiatives

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

·  Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent qualification. Certified HKICPA / ACCA is an advantage
·  3+ years relevant experience in accounting / finance / retail operation
·  Strong data analytical skills, problem solving and communication skills
·  Good experience or knowledge of SAP/ Business Intelligence / Power BI
·  Results-oriented, customer focused and able manage multiple projects
·  You would gain an advantage if you had exposure to luxury/ retail organization and equipped both external and internal auditing experiences
