Account Payable Intern - Project Management & Process Improvement

Job description
We are looking for a motivated and proactive intern to join the Accounts Payable team, reporting directly to the Project Manager. The intern will support the Project Manager and the team in activities related to the analysis, streamlining, and improvement of internal processes, actively participating in strategic Group projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in project management and workflow optimization within a dynamic and innovative Finance environment.
How will you make an impact?
• Assist the Project Manager and support the team in participating in and implementing Group projects aimed at process innovation and efficiency (e.g., projects related to Looker, Celonis, Robotic Process Automation, etc.).
• Contribute to the analysis of existing processes to identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions.
• Support the Project Manager and the team in extraordinary activities, including those related to migration or incorporation operations of Group companies, with a focus on procedural impacts.
• Assist the team in ordinary activities, while ensuring a continuous optimization perspective.
• Collaborate in the development and implementation of reports and dashboards for monitoring process performance and Accounts Payable KPIs.
How will you experience success with us?
• Bachelor's degree (or ongoing studies) in economics, engineering, statistics, mathematics, or a Master's degree in Data Science or similar fields.
• Good knowledge of the Office Package, especially Excel and Access.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel (PowerQuery – PowerPivot) and any programming languages (e.g., Python) is a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and results-oriented skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and interact with various corporate functions.
• Interest in technological innovation and process automation.
