Job Description
As buyer, you are in charge of Tier-N and Broker suppliers in order to secure the electronic components (EC) procurements of the Renault Group at the expected technical and economical performance.
Tier-N suppliers Management:
· Ensure Market Intelligence study by the team and make some recommendations
· Contribute to the definition of Electronic Components strategy and support the deployment
· Contribute to the Panel management (existing and prospection)
· Contribute to the upstream phase of Tier-N technical cooperation with Renault Engineering and Tier-N suppliers, to generate business opportunities
· Localize electronic components ecosystems closer to Renault operations
· Develop and coordinate Tier-N relationship (weekly meeting, performance review preparation…)
· Coordinate the shortage management w/ Tier-N suppliers to challenge Tier-N actions plan
· Contribute the development of some alternative schemes & sources (Direct/ Directed Buy)
· L ead the “Directed Buy” sourcings in relation with the commodities team,
· Challenge the buyers about Tier-N suppliers performance (commercial, contracts, quality …)
· Establish some economical benchmark , consolidate Tier-N performance and propose some additional leverages
· Support transversally the commodity teams for EC management (Risk assessment, Business Continuity Plan, EC price management …)
Brokers Management:
· Manage the EC brokers panel of his/her portfolio
· Coordinate RFQ and develop EC market screening
· Challenge EC deliveries to Tier-1 suppliers, in relationship with Sofrastock management
· Ensure that EC Procurement process (RFQ, PO, deliveries schedule …) is strictly followed
· Manage Brokers performance (QCD status, QCD Review) and report about deliveries to Renault and to Tier-1 suppliers
