Job Description

In the Data Factory Team, reporting to the Data Management Director, the Business Analyst is the proxy Product Owner inside the Data Factory and internal Head of Project. He/She has to :

·  Support MFS internal clients (countries and corporate functions) in their data projects, help them express their needs, advise and guide them on possible solutions:
·  Communicate and promote Data Platform solutions in the different subsidiaries and in Corporate
·  Foster the identification of Data Platform use-cases opportunities and added values for business
·  Ensure the consistency of Data Platform projects, their alignment with strategy and their compliance (data privacy, data governance, security…)
·  Identify the potentials adherences between the Data platform projects and make propositions accordingly (grouping, carry over , prioritization...)
·  Transform clients needs in functional requirements, produce the appropriate documentation for Go/No Go decision, prioritization and development
·  Steer and follow Data projects, on QCD axis, from framing to go live, in Agile method
·  Ensure compliance and its auditability with Data project methodology and delivery of project documentation
·  Ensure, all along the projects, actions coordination between the different stakeholders, in Corporate and in Subsidiaries: Project Owner, Data Governance, Data Privacy, Data Factory (Data Engineering, Data Science, IT & Data Architecture) and the businesses involved such as marketing, digital, regulatory, financials & controlling
·  Define and follow the QCD KPI’s and report the progress of the projects he/she is in charge of
·  Ensure the business validation of the finished products
·  Ensure training and operational usage of the finished products
·  Guarantee the finished products from delivery in production to serial life management

Detailed responsibilities

·  Frame the Data Platform use cases for the Go/No Go decision and prioritization
·  Ensure that the projects prerequisites are met
·  Ensure each project KPIs will be measurable and measured
·  Formalize through the business requirements documentation, the business need and the different features to set up
·  Take the project to Data Factory and Data Office
·  Challenge, validate or invalidate the solution and the schedule proposed
·  Roll out the different project phases he/she is in charge of, from framing to go live, on QCD axis, following the methodology applied to Data Factory project (agile method) and coordinating stakeholders actions
·  Steer project committees and comitology
·  Prepare projects reporting for steering committees to present QCD KPIs he has built and followed
·  Set up test plans and follow their roll out
·  Ensure the proper delivery in production of the finished product
·  Ensure training and operational usage of the finished products
·  Ensure the maintenance of the finished product
·  Ensure that the project documentation has been created in accordance with Data Factory method
·  Prepare all necessary presentation of the project
·  Propose methodological modifications

Required skills / required experience

·  Fluent English
·  Basic SQL Level : ability to perform simple requests
·  Data analysis skills
·  Project management or Project owner support experience required 
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·  Business process analysis and data analysis appetence
·  Animation, coordination, and teamwork appetence
·  Synthetic spirit, organization and pedagogy required
·  Knowledge of the banking, insurance, automobile sectors appreciated
·  Knowledge or appetence for Big Data technologies, AI, Data engineering and Data Science appreciated
·  Knowledge or appetence for Agile method and related tools
·  Pack Office mastery
