Internship - Supply Chain Control Tower

As part of the HQ Supply Chain team, the Interns will be responsible for planning and reporting activities. Specifically, regarding the planning task, the intern will be fully responsible for the definition, implementation and monitoring of the monthly transport plan among the supply chain network. Instead, regarding the reporting task, the intern will be in charge of the reporting activity within the International Transport Department.

Main activities – Planning :

· Coordination with other planning department, with local team and with carriers to define transport requirements;
· Inside the company’s TMS (Transportation Management System), to define an efficient and optimized transport plan and to control daily criticalities;
· To ensure documentation integrity inside the ERP and to maintain the TMS updated;
· In coordination with the reporting team to follow-up delivery performances with suppliers.

Main activities – Reporting :

· In coordination with transport planning team, transport buyers and other company’s departments, to define, to maintain and to optimize the international transport KPI dashboard;
· To develop on demand analysis on OTD (On Time Delivery), OTL (On Time Loading), Deliveries Saturation, Warehouse Performances, etc…;
· To Follow-up new projects, supporting the function manager, with the aim of guaranteeing continuous improvement among the systems and/or within the logistic network;
· To manage claim and/or discrepancy on deliveries acting as a bridge towards customers requests’ and local distribution management.

Required competences:

· Degree in Management Engineering / Economics, preferably with specialization in Supply Chain Management,
· Fluent in English (other languages will be appreciated),
· Strong MS Office (especially Excel) skills and wide numerical/analytical skills,
· Practical approach, Goal orientation and Autonomy are key success factors,
· Passion for Digital, Analytics and Automotive is well appreciated.
