One of Europe's leading tyre manufacturers, Pirelli Tyres Ltd, is seeking a student placement to join us in the Research and Development department at our Carlisle factory.

Essentially the role is to support the team for prototype tyre building; from components, building, through to finished cured product and testing. The ideal candidate will be details driven and highly computer literate as the role will include analysis and statistical work.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone to really understand and be part of the Research and Development team.

Essential Requirements:

· Excellent Computer skills
· Studying for a related degree
· Good communication skills
· Self motivated
· Team player
· Adaptable

Other information related to the role

· A Mentor will be identified for the period of the placement to provide support in learning and development.
· Assistance will be provided in finding appropriate accommodation, but financial assistance for accommodation will not be given.
· Student must have a valid work permit/visa for the UK.
