One of Europe’s leading tyre manufacturers, Pirelli Tyres Ltd, is looking to recruit 3 bright, enthusiastic people to join them as Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Apprentices based at our Carlisle site. The successful candidates will spend their first year on a full time basic technical course. The remainder of the 4 year modern apprenticeship will combine a structured in-house training programme incorporating day release studies. This will lead to an NVQ Level 3 qualification and, subject to progress and availability, further study will be possible. The apprenticeships will commence in September 2017 and the successful candidates will be expected to attain or already possess 5 GCSE grades C or above including Mathematics, English and a Science subject. Candidates should be able to demonstrate evidence of practical skills and ability.

Closing date for applications is Friday 31st March 2017.

KEY DATES: Applicants must be available on Saturday 8th April 2017 to undertake an aptitude test at Pirelli Carlisle. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to undertake an assessment centre on 6th and 7th May 2017. Interviews will be held week commencing 22nd May 2017 with 2nd interviews week commencing 5th June 2017.
