Your mission

Pierre Fabre USA is excited to invite a passionate and driven leader to join our growing team as a Regional Sales Manager. 

In this pivotal role, you will guide and inspire a team of Dermatology Sales Representatives, serving as ambassadors for our skincare brand, Avène. Your team will work closely with healthcare professionals (HCPs) to highlight our innovative skincare solutions and promote the benefits of dermatological care.

Essential Functions:   

 

Lead and Develop Your Team:  

 

· 
Manage and motivate a team of 8 to 10 Dermatology Sales Representatives to achieve sales objectives. 

· 
Conduct regular field visits to provide coaching, feedback, and support to team members. 

· 
Review and refine sales routing, ensuring personalized coaching sessions with each team member at least monthly. 

Sales and Performance Oversight:  

· 
Monitor and manage team field activities, including work schedules and reporting (call reports, sample reporting when applicable). 

· 
Ensure proper execution of company programs, including the Lunch & Learn Program and the appropriate use of promotional materials and budgets. 

 

Collaboration and Communication:  

· 
Maintain regular communication with client field/regional managers and internal cross-functional teams. 

· 
Cascade company goals and priorities to the team, providing timely feedback to leadership as needed. 

· 
Training and Development: 

· 
Assist in planning and delivering training sessions and periodic sales meetings. 

· 
Act as a resource for team development, helping to align individual performance with company objectives. 

Compliance and Accountability:  

· 
Review and approve team expense reports while ensuring adherence to expense policies. 

· 
Monitor compliance with client sample accountability procedures and other regulatory requirements.

Required Education and Experience :  

· 
4-year college degree preferred  

· 
Experience in pharmaceutical, medical sales or B2B sales experience strongly preferred  

· 
3+ years of detailing of OTC products or pharmaceutical sales to HCPs preferred 

· 
2- 3 years-plus field sales management required, dermatology or skincare experience preferred,   

· 
Previous Dermatology or skincare experience preferred   

· 
Results-focused   

· 
Proven track record of achieving sales targets or product recommendations  

· 
Keen analytical sense and ability to understand financial concepts   

· 
Excellent selling and presentation skills   

· 
Strong business acumen:   

· 
Ability to self-manage and work autonomously   

· 
Strong organizational and strategic planning skills   

· 
Strong technical/clinical/scientific aptitude and background  

· 
Ability to swiftly adapt to a changing environment to meet unexpected demands effectively

Excellent written and oral communications and interpersonal skills   

· 
Skilled in MS Office (Word, Excel. PowerPoint and Outlook) and use of the VEEVA CRM systems   

· 
Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record   

· 
Employees who do not qualify for a corporate credit card for any reason will be expected to cover the cost of their travel & expenses and submit for reimbursement.   

  

Work Environment / physical demands / position type and expected hours of work:   

· 
Responsible for lifting product samples and literature within storage facility unit, lifting, and managing samples and literature from storage facilities to car trunk and from car trunk to customer’s office, up to 50lbs per box/package.   

· 
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computer, iPad, cell phone, and printer.   

· 
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk.
