Your mission
Pierre Fabre Denmark is looking for an experienced Category Manager for a newly created role in the Danish dermo-cosmetics team to help identify growth opportunities in pharmacies and selected specialty retailers both off- and online for the three brands we market in Denmark: Eau Thermale Avène, A-Derma and Ducray.
Your main responsibilities will be to govern, analyze and utilize internal and external data (sales data, market data, consumer data, etc.) to identify, generate and validate opportunities for value-creating collaborations with our customers. You will challenge brand and category strategies based on customer and shopper data and drive distribution, category and space development in all retail environments. As part of the role, you will contribute to developing assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies based on category insights and collaborate closely with our KAM and Sales Manager to increase customer performance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive category plans, leveraging your extensive experience and expertise to drive business growth and profitability.

Contribute to the development of retailer engagement plans, showcasing your category thought leadership and expertise to establish strong partnerships and drive mutual growth.

Track, analyze, and report on category performance, utilizing your advanced analytical skills to identify areas for improvement and adjust plans accordingly to meet objectives.
·
Contribute to the development of channel-specific assortment strategies, collaborating with key stakeholders to optimize product offerings and meet customer demands.
·
Develop pricing and promotional strategies, leveraging your analytical insights and market knowledge to drive competitive pricing and impactful promotional campaigns.
You will be part of a commercial team of 15 people and will report to the Danish Country Manager.
Who you are ?
ABOUT YOU
·
Master’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
·
Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in category management, brand management, or a related field, with a track record of success in driving business growth.
·
Demonstrated ability to take ownership of the analytical direction to deliver category and brand objectives, leveraging your extensive experience and expertise.
·
Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to analyze and derive actionable insights from large volumes of data.
·
Keen attention to detail and a proven track record in managing multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring successful outcomes.
·
Advanced Excel skills are essential for this role, with proficiency in data analysis and reporting. Experience with data visualization is a plus.

Experience in leveraging market data for decision-making.
·
Experience with space planning is highly desirable, demonstrating your ability to optimize assortment and layout for maximum category performance.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams as well as internal and external partners.
·
Team player who appreciates being part of a team both on a professional and social level.
·
Fluent in Danish – both in writing and verbally.
