About the job

As a Design System Expert, you'll work directly in the Design System squad with 5 amazing engineers. You will own Midnight (Payfit Design System) from components design, to guidelines definitions. Your work will be key to make PayFit experience the best one, at scale.

• Full-stack designer . You have a very strong level in UI design, you're in love with details and well finished interfaces, but you don't stop to the first look. You are also passionate about interaction design and components usability. You're obsess with both good UX and delightful UI.
• Automation and consistency addict . You are convinced that automation, standardization and consistency are key to scale a product preserving the UX quality. You know how to build a design system and how to embed a design team in the process.
• Design system advocate . You know how to define and standardize a design system, and how to establish best practices for software and design workflows. You are also a design system evangelist.
• Team player . You love working in team, collaborating with engineers and building tools and documentation that will help designers to go further building the product. You can work hand in hand with both brand and product designers.
• Leader. You own your projects, and embed people in the adventure. You are able to set process, documentation and communication to do so.

About you

• Have already design and improve complex design systems
• Experiences designing and shipping digital products and systems, not only websites
• Ability to drive a project from conception to delivery
• Organized and ambitious mindset to follow the development of the team
• Product thinker, strong user advocate
• Minimalism freak, and the taste for clean and simple products
• Experience building a design system
• Solid cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
• Fluent in English

Bonus

• Devsigner: you have knowledge and experience in front development languages
• Any kind of coding skill, so that you can understand how engineers think their way around.
