About the role

This position is based in France.
Get onboard of the PayFit rocket by joining our Legal Team as a DPO & Compliance Counsel.

Your main missions will be :
- to be the key expert on EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other privacy law
- to ensure that PayFit's complies with its privacy and compliance obligations.

You will be responsible for:
- Providing expert support to various stakeholders (Product, Security, Customer Support, Sales, etc.) on privacy-related matters
- Raising awareness on data protection among our employees, in particular by leveraging the network of Privacy Champions
- Drafting DPIAs and any other type of documents (process, guidelines, template) necessary to improve PayFit's compliance
- Providing expert support on breach management process.

The role is made for you if: 
• you have a proven track record of 5+ years as privacy counsel and/or DPO in a SaaS/tech company or as a lawyer in law firm specialized in privacy
• you have project management skills
• you are autonomous and business-oriented
• you are pedagogue and have some strong communication skills

It would be great if you also:
• hold a CIPP/E or other privacy-related certification

Your future team:
You will report directly to Céleste, the VP legal.
You will be part of our stellar legal team composed of 6 people (commercial, HR, corporate and privacy). 
You will be working with various stakeholders within the company (product, security, customer support, sales, HR, etc.)

3 Interview 2 with the VP Security
4 Interview 3 with the VP legal

=> Background check to verify (ISO27001 certification): identity, diploma and past professional experiences.
