Your Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced working student as software engineer for the development of neuromodulation devices /brain-machine-interfaces for innovative bioelectronic therapies to treat diseases where patients lack effective treatment options. We are looking for a 6 month internship but are flexible with different time models. As part of our Bioelectronics program team, you will be responsible for implementing software in the context of steering electrophysiological experiments and decoding nerve signals. You will work with our interdisciplinary team of data scientists, engineers, physicians, and the lab team to develop efficient and innovative software solutions, both internal as well as patient or physician facing. You will contribute to the success of our innovative approaches at the frontier of neuroscience in bioelectronic medicine at our headquarters in Darmstadt.

 

Who you are:

 

•             Student in computer sciences / engineering with development experience
•             Strong command of Python, dashboard frameworks (e.g. streamlit, dash)
•             Strong problem-solving skills, experience writing high quality code
•             Experience with team-based development projects, tools (Git, Azure), agile
•             Prior exposure to UIX concepts, physiological data, medical software development, MATLAB is a plu
