Your Role:

At MilliporeSigma, the Cell Banking Supervisor is responsible for directing and leading cGMP Cell Banking manufacturing and Biorepository operations. You will oversee activities to manufacture cGMP cell banking for clients aligned with cGMP regulations and guidance lines. You will also organize and supervise the flow of inventory in and out of the biorepository department and ensure inventories meet quality specifications and operational requirements.

·  Oversees the development, implementation and maintenance of quality control systems and activities at the site
·  Ensures defined tasks are implemented and executed in accordance with regulations and approved quality standards and procedures
·  Reviews and revises manufacturing methods, SOPs, equipment IQ/OQ/PQ, and investigation report
·  Maintains close communication and interaction with the existing management, staff and clients to ensure on-time dependable analysis, interpretation and reliable data
·  Interacts with regulatory agencies to present applicable data, explain incidents, trends and reports as needed
·  Performs management responsibilities such as the development and maintaining department budget
·  Provides direct supervision to team members, meets with direct reports to set goals, conducts regular one-on-one discussions with employees.  Conducts performance reviews timely
·  Interviews and hires new candidate
·  Manages the receiving, order fulfillment and shipping activities ensuring timely and accurate response
·  Performs other duties as assigned

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

·  Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific field (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, etc.) and 3+ years industry experience  
·  Associate Degree in a scientific field (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, etc.) and 5+ years industry experience

Preferred Qualifications:

·  3+ years’ experience in cGMP manufacturing, preferably with Cell Bank manufacturing and ISO Clean Room experience
·  Leadership experience in a high-level technical or project lead role
·  Intermediate skills in applicable computer programs
·  cGMP experience of data evaluation trending and troubleshooting
·  Excellent oral and written communication skills that have been demonstrated through presentations/seminars, oversight of projects, implementation of new services, etc.
·  Excellent time management skills and highly, technically competent
·  Highly collaborative as well as independent
·  Demonstrates a high level of initiative and leadership capabilities
·  Effective coaching and training skills for complex and highly technical work
