This role may be done up to 100% remotely.

Your Role:
An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join the company as Cheminformatics specialist. You will work as a part of Cheminformatics team together with chemistry, product development, commercial teams, and with external collaborators to advance our core cheminformatics capabilities. You will contribute to the further development of cheminformatics software, including Synthia, the retrosynthetic software and associated technology according to roadmap of product development. Furthermore, you will identify refinements and expand the capabilities using knowledge of other software and related technology.

Who You Are:

·  be a Master of Science in Chemistry, Life Science, Computer Science or related; PhD preferred
·  have 5+ years of Python coding experience, preferably in cheminformatics methods and applications
·  optional 3+ years of cheminformatics/computational chemistry experience, preferably in retro- and forward-synthesis
·  practice knowledge in implementing production ready application along with in-depth understanding of Cheminformatics and Computational Chemistry methods
·  have familiarity with cheminformatic tools and libraries such as RDKit, Indigo, OpenEye
·  as an advantage we're looking for experience with Monte-Carlo tree search, graph algorithms, and reinforcement learning and experience with following technologies/libraries: Docker, Kubernetes, celery, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, cloud (GCP/AWS), scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Pytorch
·  we are keen to see documented experience in coding in Python, git or otherwise
·  great teammate, willing to work across disciplines and learn independently, self-motivated and energetic, excited to tackle the challenges associated with groundbreaking science
