Your role:
· Physically operate metrology tools to measure wafers including physical, defect and surface properties in cleanroom then summarize results.
· Deliver/report results from collected data and communicate with cleanroom partners and internal project leaders.
· Develop and optimize recipes for metrology measurements.
· Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot process and metrology tools
· Develop and maintain preventative maintenance log and operation procedures
· Support the install and equipment qualification of new laboratory equipment
· Summarize test results in adequate technical reports and data packages.
· Develop expertise and support electronic laboratory notebook or other systems.
· Develop and maintain relationships with internal labs.
· Be able to travel to partner/3rd-party lab sites, customer fabs and internal labs.
Who you are:
· Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering relevant fields, e.g., Material Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering etc.
· ≥ 2 years’ experience in the semiconductor industry, hands-on experience in CMP process is a must
· Hands-on experience in using metrology tools/equipment to measure wafer properties is a must
· Hands-on experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of the metrology tools/equipment is preferred
· Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills that support a diverse, cross-functional, multicultural team environment
· Good verbal and written communications skills
· Experience in safety activities or high safety awareness
· Expert in training, reasoning, and documentation of operation, troubleshooting results
· Team player, self-driven, willing to learn, and can-do attitude
