Your Role
The Biotools Duty Supervisor is a shift-based position, and is responsible for the coordination
production activities in the Biotools operation.
The Biotool Duty Supervisor will be accountable for the achievement of production targets, department metrics and key department and site objectives.
In addition, the Duty Supervisor will be responsible for supporting and implementing projects for,
continuous improvement activities within the Biotools department(s).
The Biotools Duty Supervisor will be the primary point of contact with responsibility for the entire Biotools operation in the absence of a departments Production Manager or Supervisor with particular emphasis on Safety, Quality, Equipment and People Management.
Who You Are
· Previous manufacturing experience in a GMP environment (Preferably Chemical or Pharmaceutical Environment).
· Supervisory experience within a Manufacturing operation.
· Minimum Diploma/FETAC Level 7 qualification required.
· Qualification in Supervisory / Management training desirable.
· Strong, capable decision maker who provides clear direction to all team members including all functional teams.
· Strong knowledge of EHS, Quality, GMP standards and regulations.
· Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, etc.).
· Excellent Operation systems knowledge (MyLearning, ERP, etc..)
· Proven track record of process improvements an advantage.
· Knowledgeable in Lean Manufacturing, Six sigma.
· Greenbelt or Bluebelt accreditation desirable.
· Strong leadership & people skills.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with various functional teams.
