Engineering Technician

Your Role:

An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join the company as an Engineer/Technician. This role will provide technical support to the production team, to ensure equipment is operating as required. You will also work with the Quality team to perform Failure Analysis and contribute to 5Y and 8D processes. You will coordinate all maintenance activities on production equipment to ensure they are performed in a timely manner and take care that inspections of new incoming containers are carried out and release to manufacturing. You will work closely with the EHS team to assist with various EHS activities and any proposed CAPA actions.

 

Who You Are:

 

Minimum Qualifications:

·  High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
·  2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·  Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering or Engineering equivalent.
·  Solid engineering background with hands-on experience.
·  Excellent interpersonal skills in order to communicate on complex and technical issues.
·  Experience in comprehending CAD software drawings, such as SolidWorks.
·  Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
·  Strong verbal and written communication skills.
·  Aptitude to learn new things.
