Your role:

 

In this part-time role you will provide a full range of human resources advice and services typically covering more than one specialization. You will ensure that our company meets its legal and statutory local obligations and minimizes risks. You will analyze information and possible solutions and make independent judgments, decisions and recommendations. You will understand the local needs and requirements across sectors and build knowledge of the organization, processes and internal colleagues. Due to the Belgian regulations, you will look at potential safety risks in our organization and come up with solutions to the managing director. You will act as the contact person for these topics to your colleagues. You will develop new Safety and Health training courses to address specific hazards, trends, new technologies, or the need for refresher training when needed. You will promote safety, awareness & information and carry out relevant checks together with operational management. You will propose First aid planning, draw up risk analysis, provide advices on wellbeing domains such as workplace safety, ergonomics, hygiene and plan for Emergency management (intervention teams, organizing evacuation and simulation exercises). You will implement Group EHS strategies, guidelines, management systems and goal especially in aspects like fire safety, occupational health, waste management and be the contact person for authorities. You will also plan and coordinate data privacy training programs and activities and serve as a liaison to regulatory and accrediting bodies. You will help establish and administer a process for receiving, documenting, tracking, investigating, and taking action on all complaints concerning the organization’s data protection policies and procedures in coordination and collaboration with other similar functions and, when necessary, legal counsel. You will be the single point of contact in Belgium of the facilities officer and of the facilities management company and support them in the coordination of the local issues.

 

Who you are:

 

·  Can work 20 hours/week in a flexible schedule.
·  Proficient in Dutch and English, knowledge of French is a plus.
·  Previous experience in a chemical or drug manufacturing / biotech or pharmaceutical company or studies from these fields would be an advantage.
·  Have a positive, proactive personality and have great interpersonal skills.
·  Happy to cooperate with different teams but also able to work with limited supervision.
·  Have the desire to develop as an employee.
