Your Role:
As a PhD student within Analytical Development, you will characterize active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) using various analytical methods. The focus will be on biopredictive in vitro dissolution testing, specifically, on the biopharmaceutics characterization of drug products. You will develop new in vitro methods with the aim to improve understanding of dissolution, supersaturation/precipitation and digestion of lipid-based formulations and APIs in lipidic environments. This will further include translation of in vitro to in vivo clinical data and cross-functional collaboration with other experts and departments. The PhD project will be in close collaboration with European universities.
Who You Are:
- Master / ‘Staatsexamen’ or equivalent degree in pharmacy or life sciences
- Profound knowledge in pharmaceutical development and first experiences of working in a research environment
- Excellent team player with “fit for purpose” mindset
- Fluent English skills, fluent German skills due to international collaboration and supervision
- Effective oral and written communication skills
