Packaging Engineer

Your role:

Overall Objectives of the Position

Manage and optimize the site system of packaging/labeling and ensure the output meet market demands

Main Tasks

•     In charge of site packaging/labeling development and commercialization.

•     Support project team on packaging & labeling strategic decisions in terms of concept design, cost model and launch scheduling

•     Ensuring trade compliance of packaging/labeling artwork design though collaboration with cross functions and government regulation understanding.

•     Lead packaging material dual sourcing for business continuity 

•     Lead packaging type design/renovation to meet manufacturing efficiency, timing and cost target

•     Design and conduct new packaging material lab test, consumer test and transportation test

•     Technical document and datasheet development

•     Work closely with cross function team and suppliers to make sure new product introduction on time, on quality and on cost.

 

Who you are:

Education and Qualification Required

Education: Bachelor degree and above

•     Working Experience:

•     5+ year working experience in packaging and labeling design / development

Technical & Professional Knowledge:

•     Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to work either as a team or independently

•     Demonstrate good project management skills, lean/6S belt certified/PMP certified is preferred

•     Strong communication skills; team work; high Initiative and willing to work under pressure

•     Fluent English in spoken and written, familiar with office software (Excel, PPT etc.)
