MSAT Process Development Associate

The position is part of the Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT), which is responsible for proactively pursuing and performing Pharmaceutical development through to manufacturing and purification of therapeutic proteins. The Process development Scientist position is part of a worldwide team of MSAT reporting into the technical support group for the Process Solution Division.  The ideal candidate will be a scientist/engineer with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of bioprocess unit operations and possess 3-5 years’ experience in Pharmaceutical development and Engineering

 

Your Role:

·  Provide appropriate clear solutions to customer while working under general analysis and guidance – these solutions may relate to process development, scale-up testing and/or data/results analysis
·  Build technical skills in core technologies and Bio-processes
·  Perform basic data analysis and provide recommendations for optimized process conditions such as sterile membrane filtration, depth filtration, tangential flow filtration, viral reduction filtration, as well as chromatography; provide report and summary of work in a timely fashion
·  Familiarity with basic technical concepts, following a supplied equipment and operational protocols.
·  Understand basic process behavior and issues; consult with devise and plan basic trouble-shooting strategies and procedures.
·  Deliver basic and standard seminars and training on core technologies, engage in technical discussions with customers
·  Communicate well and Understand organization, roles and responsibilities. Understand expectations for specific customer projects.
·  Travel to customer local region based on project requirements
·  Thought Leadership with Published, Presentation in symposium for technical public communication
·  Involved strategic internal project and activity for launching product

 

Who You Are:

·  Background BS or MS in Biology, Biotechnology, Life sciences, BioProcess Engineering and so on related with Biological technologies field.
·  Hands on laboratory/facility skills with 3-5 years’ experience within pharmaceutical development or technology implementation
·  Execute bench-top experiments and Bio-manufacturing
·  Develop test methods and experimental reports for our customers.
·  Derive relevant conclusions based on the experimental results and effectively communicate this to our customers.
·  Make recommendations for future course of action based on experimental results
·  Business Proficient in English
