Internship preparative and analytical liquid chromatography

Liquid Chromatography is one of the fundamental techniques needed to analyze and also purify complex sample material. The lab your new position is located in uses (U)HPLC, (HP)TLC, SFC, IC and other techniques hyphenated to various detection options (UV/DAD, RI, MS (SingleQuad, QToF & Ion Trap), ELSD and others) to analyze samples from all of business sectors.
The focus of this position is the structure elucidation of unknown trace compounds in pharmaceutical products and other research substances. Your job is the development of methods and the isolation of trace compounds from complex mixtures for structural analysis by HR-MS, NMR and X-Ray.

The position includes support of other ongoing analytical projects, too.

Who you are:

·  You have excellent organization and communication skills
·  Good English and/or German skills.
·  Experience with liquid chromatography is a plus.
·  Interest in analytical chemistry.
·  Background in chemistry, biology or related sciences.
·  You are interested in in instrumental analytical methods

 

The position is limited for one year and the candiate should be willing to start 1st of September 2020
