Internship - BioReliance Laboratory

Your role:

The intern will perform a wide variety of routine tasks to support GLP/ GMP operations. Responsibilities include performing laboratory housekeeping, and preparation of reagents, stock control, general equipment maintenance and assays required to characterize product. The role would primarily focus on laboratory-based activity or desk bound operational excellence related work. We have multiple labs, i.e., Microbiology (Bacteriology & Mycoplasma), Virology, Cell Culture, Molecular Biology, Viral Clearance. The intern will carry out projects with the appropriate scientific and regulatory compliance, also support lab investigations. They are will develop understanding of biosafety testing services and technical principles as well as advances in the field. They will be exposed to interaction with multitude of stake holders, i.e., Lab Scientist, Facility Engineering, Quality Assurance, Stores and Supply Chain, Support Services, etc. to build working relationships. The intern may be assigned work related to facility engineering & maintenance; Quality Assurance and Quality Control; Inventory Management & Supply Chain; Operational Excellence; etc.

Who you are:

Education:  

·  Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or higher degree in relevant scientific subject

Experience:

·  Demonstrable understanding about Microbiology, virology, cell culture and molecular biology.

Knowledge & Skills:

·  Computer literacy
·  Ability to complete documentation (both handwritten and electronic) neatly and accurately.
