Your Role:
Compliance Liaison:
General responsibility that all employees in Merck SRL Romania are aware of the global Merck Code of Conduct, applicable Merck Policies and codes and local ARPIM Code of Ethichs for acting responsibly and in an ethically correct manner;
Implementation (including coaching/training for local users) and maintenance of clear standards of business and ethical conduct consistent with Merck standards and local regulations and tailored towards local risks and business models;
Alignment of local/business unit policies and procedures with Merck standards and local regulations, including policies on limits on donations, gifts, and discounts made to government entities, officials or HCPs/HCOs/POs;
Ongoing, effective communications and training on compliance requirements, such as: Code of Conduct, Merck Pharma Code and other Merck Compliance Policies;
Manage the electronic tool for review of interactions with Healthcare Professionals and patients & patient organizations (Quantum Connect / IMT) as per current user guides;
Conduct compliance risk assessments incl. annual risk assessment for the local / business unit area, aggregate and analyze compliance issues and trends, and provide local / business unit summary to Compliance Officer and Group Compliance;
Provide communications and guidance regarding such identified risks (initially focused on anti-bribery compliance) to the local / business unit area and channel inquiries to global legal subject matter expert, as applicable;
Oversee, facilitate and report on compliance issues and implement remediation activities, as applicable, and prepare compliance update reports for Compliance Officer and Group Compliance.
Executive Assistant:
Provides high-level administrative support by handling information requests and performing clerical functions and administrative support to Managing Director (MD) and General Manager (GM) of Merck Romania;
Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements and other documents using word processing, spreadsheet, database and/or presentation software.
Who you are :

You possess a University degree, preferably in Law.
·
Good working knowledge of applicable Compliance EU codes and Romanian legislation and codes.
·
Proven track record of managing complex Compliance interactions with HCP´s, patient organizations, HCOs and other local bodies.

You are able to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a complex cross functional international team.
·
You have a strong business mindset and sound understanding of the procedures and processes.
·
You have strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
·
You have a valid Driver’s License.
