About the role:

We are looking for an AWS Associate Solution Architect to join Marketing & Sales Application Technology as part of the Cross Channel Domain & Solution Architecture team. Together with you we craft & develop the roadmap of Marketing & Sales landscape, supporting all sectors of our leading Science & Technology Company.

Together, we build solutions that will enable a seamless, highly scalable omnichannel experience for a multi-billion-dollar enterprise, supporting customers & patients around the globe. You will closely work with the experts of our existing Ecosystem and provide guidance on how to demonstrate the power of AWS to evolve our solutions to the next level.

 

Key Responsibilities

In your role you will be responsible to architect, (re)design and build applications together with our IT team. You will take advantage of the global scale, elasticity, automation and high-availability features of the AWS platform. You will work across a range of areas including web and mobile applications, enterprise applications, CIAM and AI / Machine Learning.

You will develop AWS applications, participate in design discussions and brainstorming for solution designs, as well as mentor developers on the AWS technology stack.

 

Who you are:

·  Design, build, test and deploy solutions at scale, impacting millions of customers & patients worldwide, by demonstrating AWS Well Architected Framework principles
·  Identify, design and implement process improvements & automations
·  Get along with our Application Technology teams across geographies to leverage expertise to develop the best solutions for our customers & patients
·  Collaborate with our Cloud Infrastructure team for deployments
·  Trouble shoot issues across our Marketing & Sales AWS services and applications
·  Work with IT security to implement data backup and disaster recovery, data privacy and security requirements to ensure solutions stay compliant to security standards and frameworks
·  Ability to make hardware and software recommendations, based on needs of the project and organization
·  Experience in keeping cloud environments secure and preventing downtime and security breaches
·  In depth knowledge in determining the risk associated with third-party platforms or frameworks
·  Coach the Marketing & Sales Application Technology team on AWS technology stack & tool set

 

Job Requirements

·  6-9 years of overall experience in IT Application development & architecture
·  3-5 years of relevant experience in solution architecture and implementation of Cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure)
·  Proven track record on deployments of IT Infrastructure in cloud (and on-premise) environments
·  In depth knowledge of AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, Cloudfront, API Gateway, SNS, Elastic Beanstalk
·  Experience with micro services, containerized (Docker, ECS) or serverless (Lambda) is big plus
·  Ability to provide infrastructure on AWS using automated scripts including but not limited to S3 buckets, SNS and AWS lambda services
·  Individual contributor with extensive experience in implementing DevOps or CICD tools and processes
·  Team player, ability to be able to work with virtual teams
·  Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
·  AWS Certifications asAWS Associate Solutions Architect required
