Job Description:
· To formulate and implement the policy and procedures in relation to all aspects of Hotel security.
· To coordinate and supervise all administrative and operational functions of the Loss Prevention Department.
· To assist in and advise on the training and supervision of all Hotel personnel in matters relating to security.
· To ensure the security and safety of the Hotel, its guests, hosts and their property on about the Hotel premises.
· To promote hosts' work safety, increasing the awareness and importance of work safety environment and instilling an idea that accidents can be preventable.
Job Responsibilities:
· To assume overall responsibility for the efficient functioning of the Loss Prevention Department.
· To establish and maintain close liaison with the Police, Fire Services and other appropriate official bodies
· To ensure that all reasonable precautions are taken by the Loss Prevention Department and other Hotel hosts to prevent, minimize and remedy injury, loss or damage and to ensure the safety and satisfaction of guests and hosts.
· To investigate, report and submit incident report as required on all incidents of crime, loss, damage, accident or nuisance occurring
· To intervene immediately against culprits in the event of crime or nuisance on or about the Hotel premises.
· To plan and implement fire prevention / control and other emergency procedures and liaise with other department heads in relation to training and drills.
· To train and advise all Hotel hosts on security, fire and other emergency procedures.
Job Requirements:
· Minimum 5 years' relevant working experience, of which at least 3 years at a supervisory level.
· Holder of Security Personnel Permit.
· Good spoken, written and reading ability in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
· Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must
