Job Description
Your Opportunity:
Alexander McQueen is in search of an Inventory Planner & Allocator who will be responsible for allocating, moving, and replenishing merchandise to stores based on the coverage needs and business opportunities for each location and SKU. You will be based out of our New York offices, working in the Merchandising team, reporting into the Retail Merchandiser Director, Americas.
How you will contribute:
· Manage daily stock replenishment to stores and outlets
· Produce standard reports to monitor key business driving KPIs
· Responsible for additional manual allocation with systematic follow up on each stage of production and execution of order on time
· Prepare and analyze sales figures & market trends to anticipate product needs, additional demand request and suggest corrective and proactive actions to HQ
· Coordinate with retail team, merchandising team & marketing team and to supporting in any projects of promotions, mark down and events
· Support HQ with new stores openings to allocate initial stock and activate auto-replenishment
· Work closely with HQ Supply Chain Team to execute the strategy in Omni Channel stock mutualisation with an aim to achieve business strategies
· Maximize sales & profit by suggesting rebalancing stocks across channels, stores and countries and uphold effective SKUs control, develop different plans for slow moving items and ensure optimal rotation of stock
· 360 project and process management ensuring timely and accurate deliverables
· Relationship development with consituents and stakeholders
· Effective follow-through with all constituents and stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate execution of deliverables and that of others you impact
· Cross channel inventory movement and reporting
Your Skills and Experience:
· Experience in retail environment with hands-on knowledge of retail processes and procedures
· Possess a strong business and financial acumen with a highly analytical mindset
· Demonstrate ability to evaluate business trends and draw actionable conclusions to maximize business opportunities
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Detail oriented; strong accuracy & precision
· Ability to work proactively cross-functionally in a team environment
· Collaborative skills in strategizing and executing long & short positions in inventory
· Experience with Windows, Excel, Outlook and BI tools in order to monitor performances and KPIs
· Ability to travel
