About the role: 

As our LGV1 Driver, you’ll be responsible for distributing our range of products across the country. A typical day includes looking over the relevant paperwork, ensuring your vehicle is fit for the roads and acting as an ambassador for the John Lewis Partnership while out making deliveries.

What do I need for an LGV driving role?

· 
You’ll need an LGV C+E driving licence (with a maximum of 6 points) 

· 
You’ll also need a Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) qualification 

· 
A valid digital tachograph card.

· 
Previous experience driving a 44 tonne articulated lorry

Will I suit this role?

We’ll expect you to go the extra mile, from completing deliveries within a specific timescale to always acting in a professional and approachable manner. You’ll interact with many people at different points in your journey, whether it’s at a branch or with the general public, so you should be an open, warm and friendly individual.
