zOS Console Operations (Mainframe Operator)
·  Problem recognition, analysis, solving and escalation to support if problem persist.
·  Experience in IBM (Tivoli) SA, System Automation.
·  Open incident tickets
·  Restart of system tasks (manual or via AOC, SA)
·  Perform system IPL's
·  Monitor batch jobs (i.e. weekly and monthly backups)
·  Operating and monitoring of Virtual Tape, Oracle silos and printers.
·  Documentation of computer centre procedures.
·  Maintain and operate system automation product - SA z/OS (AOC)
·  Maintain and oeprate batch scheduling product – TWS (OPC)
·  Review computer centre documentation
·  Training of z/OS Operators.
·  Perform First Line Support and operational problem determination.
Tools/Skills/Knowledge Requirements
·  Knowledge of standard IBM hardware and software to an Operational Level.
·  Knowledge of NIC hardware and software.
·  Knowledge of IBM operating concepts z/OS, JES2
·  Knowledge of Parallel Sysplex operations.
·  TSO, ISPF, SDSF advanced.
·  TWS (OPC) advanced.
·  SA z/OS (AOC) advanced.
·  CICS, DB2, MQ, DFHSM, SYSVIEW Operations advanced.
·  Batch monitoring and JCL knowledge
