Your Role and Responsibilities
Come build the future of quantum with us. IBM’s full-stack approach delivers the best of IBM’s quantum computing systems together with the most complete suite of quantum software tools and cloud services. As a Workforce & Community Enablement advocate with IBM Quantum, your job will be to build the global community of students, developers, and researchers who use Qiskit to learn quantum computation, develop quantum applications, engage with and enable our partners and Quantum innovation Centers, and conduct quantum research.

Your role is to be part of community building initiatives in India with a focus on growing our user-base working in close collaboration with IBM Quantum researchers, developers, and our partners. In this role, you must have passion not only for technology but to explain it to a non-technical audience who are new to quantum computing, and strategize the adoption of IBM Quantum learning content to relevant audiences.

Eligibility Requirements
Please note candidates must be registered in an undergraduate or graduate program in order to be eligible for this internship. International students are eligible to apply.
Furthermore, Workforce & Community Enablement advocate interns will work remotely from home or from one of the IBM India office locations.
·  Experience with the Qiskit quantum computing framework
·  Experience in a graduate or undergraduate program related to software engineering, computer science, physics, or other relevant area of study
·  Demonstrated ability to build community, whether through formal work or volunteer programs
·  Knowledge of the Indian quantum computing landscape
·  Good communication skills and presentation experience

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Recognition as a Qiskit Advocate
·  Certification as an IBM Quantum Developer (Quantum Computation using Qiskit)
·  Experience with Github
