Introduction
As a Service Delivery Specialist, you are the face of IBM for our customers. Your clients' success depends on your ability to understand their needs and respond to requests for new services. This role is an integral part of both account planning and delivering support strategies, working to proactively monitor problems, change processes, and handle issues to ensure our customers success.

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Linux/ Windows Admin is responsible for maintaining all the proactive & reactive activities related to domain along with supporting physical devices with the help of OEM/ Vendor. Monitoring and resolution of all the alerts. To maintain all the parameters related to domain updated as per requirement. Communication with the customer and OEM for all the related activities. Would be responsible for any down situation. You will need to visit the domestic client's offices / data centres on a daily basis or on an as-needed basis as part of this role.

Responsibilities:
·  Maintaining OS and hardware.
·  Provide 24x7 support at client site and coordination with client, 24*7 availability to manage and Linux/ Windows related activities.
·  Monitor servers parameters & system performance using the tools.
·  Monitor critical services related to operating systems.
·  Ensure availability and performance of the server infrastructure systems.
·  Share weekly performance and capacity management reports
·  Implement changes Incident, Problem, Change, Patch Management
·  Create, modify and delete login scripts, user groups, users and user properties, network shares.
·  Assign and maintain user access rights as per policies defined and agreed upon with the Customer
·  Maintain and administer DNS, DHCP, NFS, NIS, DFS roots, and group policy
·  Restore server operating system in the event of a crash using backup tools
·  Resolve server problems like system hang, hard disk crash, with OEM support wherever required
·  Create new file systems and correct file system inconsistencies as and when required.
·  Perform Day to Day House Keeping tasks by using tools & scripts
·  Perform periodic system performance tuning as per Customer’s policy
·  Perform periodic schedule maintenance activity including, if required, restart of the systems
·  Unix Scripting, failover testing
·  Coordinate with multiple domain owners for technical resolution.
·  Should have relevant experience as System administrator, repair & maintenance with knowledge and expertise on Microsoft Windows Operating system. Knowledge on Windows 2016 DC

·  Highly Motivated IT professional with 15 years of experience in Designing, Deploying, Administration, Maintaining and Supporting Enterprise Microsoft platform and customized business applications.
·  Experience in Microsoft Server 2003, 2008, 2012,2016,2019.
·  Expertise in installing configuring and troubleshooting on Microsoft Server 2003, 2008, 2012,2016,2019.`
·  Excellent troubleshooting skills with both hardware and software in windows environment.
·  Managing and Monitoring Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol DHCP and DNS .
·  Installed racked and stacked HP Blade Servers, Cisco UCS Servers in multiple data centers. Familiar with HP ILO, Cisco UCS Manager, Huawei Blade Chassis, Huawei Servers
·  Knowledge about SAN Configuration and Implementation, Storage Components like Internal storage, Attached storages, SAN Switches, HBA, LUN Mapping, RAID groups, Volume Groups.
·  Strong leadership and communication skills and working experience with customers, end us
·  Ready to work in 24* 7 Environment and flexible to work from client location.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Min 2-4 years of experience relevant experience in FMS for similar setup in relevant area
·  Candidate should have good knowledge of Linux/ Windows/ VM domain.
·  Must have relevant experience in managing, installing and configuring
·  Experience in keeping track of the resolution of vulnerabilities on the system and to develop, update, maintain, and implement plan of action subsequently
·  Prior experience in ensuring compliance with vulnerability and mitigation procedures and to establish and install fixes/updates at regular intervals
·  Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications
·  Languages: English, Hindi are preferred
·  Ready to work in 24* 7 Environment and flexible to work from client location.
