A Globalization Strategist works with a Worldwide stakeholder, such as the Digital Strategist in one of the Business Units, to define and document the globalization plan for their content, including updates throughout the year, with a focus on the efficiency and effectiveness of the plan execution. The Globalization Strategist supports discussions between the Client Partners and Worldwide teams, assisting to deliver accurate sizing of globalization costs for inclusion in Document of Understand (DOU).

A person in this role is responsible for the successful delivery of the globalization plans, including leading the key client(s) through the globalization process steps, providing timely updates on project status, working through roadblocks, providing feedback to content teams when content does not meet readiness requirements for globalization, and attaining velocity targets.

To successfully perform the role, the following skills are required: digital client-journey analysis and optimization; campaign management; basic SEO; web UX best practices; web information architecture, as well as IBM web standards. In addition, in depth knowledge of globalization and content management platforms is required, such as Watson Machine Translation Health Monitor, Drupal, Kapost, and Kaltura.

A person in this role drives innovation, best practices and development of talent within the Center of Excellence and defines globalization business requirements for content platforms such as Drupal

This position will be located in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.

Must have the ability to work in the US without current/future need for IBM sponsorship.
