IBM Watson Health is looking for Commercial/Development Operations Engineers in the life sciences and Healthcare space that can help build and develop the next generation of IT Ops that can enable the delivery of the latest SaaS, PaaS and fully managed next generation solutions to our clients in the healthcare and life sciences space. This role mixes a balanced set of requirements with experience in technical development, operational management and delivery process. Focus area will include working in a security compliant seamless and fully managed IT operations services for the IBM Watson healthcare teams and partners.

We have an exciting opportunity for Watson Health Commercial Operations Engineers.

As a Watson Health Commercial Operations Engineer you will:
• Work on a team of IT operations and business leaders to focus on IT operations in a regulatory environment across the Watson Health division
• Be responsible for developing and tracking status on end to end delivery of IT operations in support of multiple lines of business, requirements, and services delivery.
• Collaborate across Watson Health division as well as with other organizations in IBM including the HIPAA Program Office, Watson teams, BlueMix, IGA Cloud services, product development teams and IT operation teams.
• Be operating, deploying and supporting Watson Health Offerings

Responsibilities :
• SaaS application deployments and troubleshooting
• Documenting deployment process and procedures
• Deploying new releases, upgrades, and new clients on the Watson Health Cloud GxP environments
• Providing World Class Support by performing problem analysis, evaluation, recreation, and resolution of client reported problems
• Training and sharing information
• Providing timely updates on assigned projects

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 6 months experience in or knowledge of configuration management systems
• At least 6 months experience in scripting languages (PERL or phython etc.)
• At least 6 months experience in Linux operating systems
• Knowledge in Cloud software deployment in a Software as a Service (SaaS) environment
• At least 6 months knowledge of network configurations, topologies
• Readiness to travel 10% travel annually
• Willingness to work flexible work schedule, inclusive of some weekend work and overtime
• English: Fluent

Preferred:
• At least 6 months experience in continuous integration (Jenkins, Chef, etc.), Urbancode deploy, etc.
• Knowledge of DB2 (administering and configuring)
• Knowledge in WebSphere Application Server
• Knowledge in VMWare, and server virtualization technologies
