Unix/AIX Administrator with German- remote work possible

Job description

Weare looking for Unix administrator to support our customer – automotivecompany for premium cars. This position is focused on systems for carproduction lines and SAP. You will be responsible for around 1000 servers includinghardware, VIO servers, LPARs and PowerHA clusters. As we form a biggerdepartment with colleagues from Middleware and DB2 sub-teams, we constantlycooperate with them - sharing knowledge and supporting each other duringprojects or resolution of problems.

Typical activities:

·  troubleshooting and resolving issues
·  modifying operating system configuration
·  applying security patches and upgrades
·  managing file systems and system resources
·  cooperation with other technical and non-technical teams

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Good understanding of storage (LVM, NFS, SAN) and network (switching, routing, vlans)
·  Good troubleshooting skills
·  Good English knowledge
