Job description
The IBM UK National Security Operations Centre aims to provide leading edge security to its government and commercial clients in the Protective Monitoring, Threat Intelligence, Engineering and Service Management spaces, 24 hours 365 days a year. The role will be based out of a fantastic site with an onsite Gym, Games Room, clubhouse and much more. As part of the core UKSOC days team your role will focus around the support of our clients via SIEM, IDS, Firewall and IAM tooling, leveraging these tools to provide accurate and immediate incident detection, response and remediation. The role also requires you to provide mentorship and guidance to the rotating shift pattern and continually strive to improve upon the norm.
A successful candidate will be tool agnostic, adaptable, methodical and most importantly have the ability to function within a large team acting as a mentor for junior staff.
