Test Automation Engineer

Java programming / scripting and preferable with more than 3+ years of Rational Functional Tester skills and experience. Scripts to be designed in accordance with the IBM Automation framework conventions, formerly known as ITCL. Candidate should have experience developing advanced automated scripts using: Object Mapping, Object Recognition manipulation, supporting Java classes for complex test scenarios. Important: - No record and playback approach will be accepted. Script development convention/standardization should be done through 3-tiered architecture using Appobjects, tasks and test cases packages and the IBM package and supported best practices. Knowledge of manual software testing methods and techniques is also required. The candidate may be required to perform manual testing and support all other testing effort.
