Technology Sales Specialist – Technology Lifecycle Services

Job description

Introduction
We are looking for experience Solutions Sales Specialist for Multi-Vendor Services (MVS). This position will be part of IBM Technology Sales - Technology Support Services (TSS) which delivers a range of maintenance and support services on IBM MVS service offerings products.

Your Role and Responsibilities

·  Responsible for identifying, building and closing sales of IBM TSS Multi-Vendor Offerings.
·  Responsible for specific set of territories and accounts
·  Managed and develop account strategies.
·  Create financial propositions around selling, robust sales lead pipeline etc.
·  Maintaining competitor and market knowledge; keeping an eye out for gaps in the market and opportunities for growth.
·  Prepare SOW/ Pricing and lead engagement towards proposal sales closure
·  Creating and defining requirements in alignment with the IBM sales transformation vision
·  Proactive in identifying and collaborating with sales leaders to accelerate Sales Transformation initiatives
·  Schedule, prepare and facilitate weekly sales cadence meeting.
·  Matrix management which will include GEOs, Markets, Sectors, Brands
·  Develop and deliver communication/branding that enables visibility to our organization’s work and impact
·  Support specific large accounts in developing and enhancing their architecture strategy using IBM technology, associates, and solutions approaches
·  Support the development of Technology Support Services strategy with the AP Sales Executives, and AP Delivery team to deliver consistent and focused field implementation
·  Partner with the Solutioning team in the AP to develop programs that continually enhance and improve the industry knowledge and solutions selling skills.
·  Collaborate with other IBM business units to define and deliver innovative best practices in AP regarding the IBM Services value proposition

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Prior experience in business development/ sales specialist as “HUNTER” in IT Infrastructure Solution
·  Worked in a large complex environment with strong sales track records (>USD 6 to 8 million deals annually)
·  Strong client management & stakeholder management experience with IT Director/ CIO etc.
·  Demonstrated ability to navigate and sell into complex client environment
·  Extensive industry knowledge in Financial Services, Healthcare, Public Sector and Manufacturing sector.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Demonstrated communications, exceptional presentation skills, and excellent collaboration and team management
·  Active listening and questioning skills to open minds and promote transformational thinking.
·  Prior experience in hybrid cloud infrastructure solution design and implementation will be an advantage.
·  Technical / Sales certification in technology
