Technical Sales Architect, IBM Global Solution Center

This is a regular, full-time position for a Technical Sales Architect within the IBM Global Solution Center in Coppell, Texas. The Global Solution Center is a world-class client center where teams of Industry Solution Architects, Specialists, and Designers bring IBM together to accelerate solutions to help clients innovate and address their most challenging business problems. This person will work with team members and clients to create and showcase high quality proofs-of-concept and generate technical sales assets for the progression or close of solution sales opportunities.
·  Architect / design / implement / lead / showcase the actualization of complex solutions with in-depth product, technology, and industry-related specialized skills in support of client opportunities, including PoCs and sales assets. This technical sales architect role is one of the key fundamental roles required in the technical pre-sales support mission of the Global Solution Center.
·  Leverage and exploit IBM's cognitive and cloud capabilities in support of client activities and actualization of sales assets.
·  Innovate in all areas of the job, including sales asset creation, direct and indirect client support, and in IBM's intellectual capital / patent industry-leading program. Location: Must work from the office with the Global Solution Center organization in the Coppell, Texas IBM location

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Demonstrated architect and design skills
·  Demonstrated application and/or user interface programming skills, including design and implementation expertise
·  Proficient communication skills, works well in teams, and quickly adapts to new technologies
·  At least 3 years of experience in analyzing client needs, requirements and expectations
·  At least 3 years of experience in developing and delivering client presentation and storytelling techniques
·  At least 1 year of experience in banking, insurance, and/or financial markets industries
·  English: Fluent
