Job description
Distributed Autosys
· Investigate incidents, i.e., servers offline, JFD FLOOD incidents, EMM Alert emails, and engage appropriate support team.
· Perform Autosys checkouts.
· Restart WCC or Autosys Agent.
· Reset passwords.
· Support RapidIT Automation process for Autosys support requests.
· Decommission servers (Script writing, editing, and running).
· Investigate/add LDAP groups in WCC, Application Asset ID, Application Name, AUT Data Warehouse, App Code.
· Create/Modify/Delete Virtual Machine.
· Use “back end”Autosys functionality regarding batch support.
· Perform regular JIL/batch job migration changes to batch Autosys jobs.
· Perform JAWS reporting.
· Perform Calendaring.
· Perform CHASE alert investigation or any batch abend/failure (may require L2 assistance).
· Perform Autosys job scheduling database changes.
Mainframe
· IPL Production and Non-Prod LPAR.
· Recycle NON-PROD CA7 Instance.
· Shut down the IDMS region and CICS Regions.
· Recycle the IDMS region and CICS Regions.
· Start or Stop IDMS region tasks.
· Perform general console operator monitoring - sessions up all day, reply to any outstanding WTO and respond to any error messages, etc.
· Provide tasks in support of Endevor Migration, Data Copy, and IDMS Migration.
· Perform report retention changes - SARs and $avrs –advanced sysout reporting tool knowledge.
· Perform CA-7 job scheduling database changes.
General
· Monitor email inboxes 24x7.
· Monitor change ticketing queue –review, approve, execute, close for all scheduling database changes.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
· At least 2 years z/OS Console Operator experience.
· At least 2 years CA-7 and Autosys Scheduling experience.
· At least 2 years hands-on experience working with Unix, Windows, and z/OS platforms.
· Working knowledge of SAR and $avrs.
· Must have a keen understanding of the Autosys environment with ability to detect and troubleshoot problems, and navigate independently.
· Must have excellent customer relations/communications skills.
· Must be able to work an Alternate Work Schedule (AWS) to maintain 24x7 support, i.e., 10 or 12 hour shifts, day or night shift, weekends, and holidays.
