The Public Service Sector consulting practice is a trusted advisor to federal, state and local governments, partnering to meet challenges and responding quickly to citizen demands, business needs, new economic conditions, and changing legislative priorities and policies.

IBM is looking for a dev ops/Team Foundation Server (TFS) Administrator whose primary responsibility is to support the client agile team and join the security and infrastructure functional team. The role would support the dev ops solution in place, builds/deployments, and enhance the current build and release processes. Additional duties include:

·  Maintaining the TFS architecture, procedures, and processes, including the configuration management process
·  Maintaining the security access for all of TFS
·  Providing off hours/weekend support for patching and release deployment efforts
·  Learn the Dev Ops solution for automated code build, application deployments, database deployments
·  Supporting automated testing development and implementation efforts
·  Experience in documenting configuration management processes and understanding environment specific parameters that can affect automated processes, e.g., builds and deployments
·  TFS or related tool administration, operation and maintenance: Release and deployment manager, Code library management, e.g., creating new branches for each release, managing code integrity controls. Grant/revoke access – manage permissions
·  Manage multiple branches of code including the ability to work with developers to resolve conflicts/merges
·  Patching and upgrading TFS and related components to include SQL Server, Visual Studio as require to maintain n-1 currency
·  Document TFS architectural Roadmap
·  Providing miscellaneous Support
·  IIS support and .net in a backup capacity
·  Lead engineering efforts for upgrades
·  Regular maintenance planning and support
·  Key POC for the 24x7 monitoring tool
