About the Talent Acquisition Organization
The Talent Acquisition organization within IBM is going through a major transformation, offering an investment and career path for talent acquisition professionals. Within early professional recruitment, we are focused on winning the hearts and minds of top university talent. Our goals are to increase the quality of early professional hiring, provide a signature candidate experience, promote IBM as the employer of choice, with a focus on diversity throughout. This team is responsible for the sourcing, attraction and engagement of top university talent across IBM, representing IBM as the face of our opportunities on campus and digitally.
About the Role
The Talent Acquisition Manager will be a people manager responsible for leading a team of 20+ Campus Talent Acquisition Sourcers focused on candidate attraction and engagement for IBM Business Units, targeting University students. You will act as a bridge between the North America, Early Professional Talent Acquisition Leader and the organization conveying the broader strategy and direction, while ensuring attainment towards goals. You will be expected to leverage new and innovative recruitment approaches, employing both traditional and digital sourcing strategies to attract the best possible talent. You will partner closely with the Talent Acquisition leadership and Business Unit teams to support the candidate experience from engagement through on-boarding, with a focus on sourcing and talent identification.

Responsibilities
· Work closely with the North America Early Professional Talent Acquisition Leader in the day to day leadership of a 20+ member team. This includes working to define and support the broader recruitment strategy and execution plans, developing innovative engagement strategies, providing support on team administration items, while coaching and training the team.
· Build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders and senior business leaders to understand hiring forecasts and recruiting priorities.
· Serve as a change agent with the business unit hiring stakeholders and deliver comprehensive support and consultation to their hiring teams who manage the full life cycle recruitment process.
· Stay abreast of the early professional competitive landscape and leverage marketplace data to inform recruitment strategy.
· Develop and support strategies for large scale marquee hiring event execution.
· Hold the team accountable towards metrics and goals.
· Work closely with the business unit talent acquisition partners and executive stakeholders to deliver a cohesive execution plan – both on campus and digitally - for attainment towards hiring goals.
· Effectively communicate candidate value proposition through strategic storytelling and brand advocacy.
· Build and leverage external relationships with technical, diversity, professional associations, campus administration to help shape sourcing strategy and develop future talent pipelines.
· Promote diversity recruiting strategies to attract a diverse workforce to IBM by hiring the best talent from varied backgrounds, experiences and styles.
· Co-manage the North American budget.
· Set high recruitment standards ensuring operational excellence and compliance.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
· Minimum 10 years of demonstrated, relevant experience.
· Minimum 3 years of managing/leading high-performing recruitment teams.
· Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage changing priorities without missing deadlines.
· Experience planning and hosting virtual candidate engagement events.
· Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively in meetings, via email and in formal discussions.
· Ability to learn and use new tools to collaborate and communicate more effectively.
· Strong Microsoft office skills, especially Excel and Powerpoint.
· Comfortable using data and metrics to assess ROI and performance.
· Must be willing to travel between 25-50% year round, with increasing intensity in the fall season.
