The role will include Performing 24x7 System Monitoring, Batch Processing and System Recovery.
Following of Incident/Problem and Change Management using account specific Tools and Processes
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Monitoring
Based at the Customer Site.
Re-act to events received at the Focal Point Monitoring Console
Incident and Problem Management
Take ownership and log every actionable alert using appropriate tool set
Action every problem record in a timely fashion or assign to correct resolver group as appropriate
Maintain accurate records in the Hand-over database.
Maintain current status of incident/problem record.
Ensure problems are handled effectively within SLA targets.
Assist other Operators with technical or process issues.
Change Management
Verify content of changes assigned to you to ensure you can perform the activities requested.
Highlight any concerns as process.
Action or Assist any changes assigned to you or your Team and maintain the status of change records using appropriate tool set
Monitor scheduled changes to ensure completeness.
Maintain status of scheduled changes throughout Shift and Hand-over, documenting progress/completeness in Hand-over log and change tool where appropriate
Highlight any out of line situations to the Service Manager or Team Leader or as per process.
Communication
Maintain Hand-Over document with status of problems together with transition changes and ongoing issues
Participate in Shift Hand-over and ensure all relevant information is passed onto the incoming shift members
Provide effective communication to Our Customers, other Support Groups and Ops Team members
Escalate and document critical situations as per the process.
Provide feedback on Event Monitoring issues.
Identify areas for alert reduction
Input to Up-line on reducing, automating or eliminating manual tasks
Regular Duties
Perform 24X7 Monitoring- Weekend included.
Comply with IBM Cyber security and ITCS300 rules and regulations.
Assist in Procedure maintenance as requested
Participate in Operations Education Training

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
2-3 year's technical and basic knowledge of Control-M & Batch Monitoring
1 year Control-M Application experience
Work experience in Distributed OPS will be required.
