System Services Representative - Boulder, CO

Job description

This is an Entry Level Position. As a System Services Representative, you will act as an individual contributor responsible for maintenance of Point of Sale equipment and Multi-Vender Services on other vendors' equipment, which are Non-IBM logo'd systems.

You will primarily be responsible for performing basic technical services including some or all of the following:
·  element exchange
·  minor repair
·  equipment refurbish
·  installation
·  relocation
·  discontinuance
·  upgrade and modification
·  iOS configurations Services are typically performed in a high volume environment with access to exchangeable units and parts requiring minimum, if any, problem determination activity. Services may be directed by a service call management process or be performed as part of a team.

Candidates should possess a basic operational knowledge of personal computers, and associated devices including iPads, iPods, and Mac books. The position requires basic electrical and mechanical aptitudes, and the ability to properly use common hand tools, which are screw driver, pliers, etc. As a System Services Representative, you will learn to act as a technical interface to customers for hardware support and the delivery of operational services as required by the customer. You will also learn to create and manage an inventory location of the necessary parts and tools required to support Apple, as well as be accountable for ensuring a high level of client satisfaction with service delivery and are capable of taking work direction remotely. When critical situations occur, you are the technical interface to clients and manage the situation until the problem is fixed.

Successful applicants must have a thorough understanding of and are able to articulate the issue and able to escalate accordingly. You should be familiar with Apple IOS products or mobile devices. Both written and spoken communication skills are a position requirement, including the ability to follow written or spoken directions and to provide information in a clear and concise manner. This position requires demonstrated skills training that will involve travel away from home in our Boulder, CO education center for an extended period of time.
