Supply Chain Modeling Consultant - IBM Client Center for Advanced Analytics (CCAA) in Columbus, OHIBM Client Center for Advanced Analytics (CCAA) in Columbus, OH is seeking Supply Chain Modeling Consultants. Supply Chain Modeling Consultants are responsible for successful delivery of supply chain analytics solutions and services in a client consulting environment. Ideally, these candidates will have operations research, mathematics, or statistics background, and will have experience with industry-standard supply chain optimization suites such as ILOG, Llamasoft, or equivalent.

Required Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with client teams to get the data required for supply chain modeling. Create additional templates for data gathering, as required.
* Conduct supply chain modeling for network, inventory, and transportation optimization. Create baselines and optimized baselines via modeling.
* Collaborate with clients to define scenarios for supply chain optimization.
* Conduct financial modeling to see the impact of various scenarios on supply chain metrics (Operating Cost, Working Capital, Inventory, etc.).
* Lead analysis and reporting of modeling results.
* Interact with project teams in a professional manner; help foster teamwork to complete designated tasks.

The IBM Client Center for Advanced Analytics mission is to design, build implement and support differentiated, advanced analytics solutions for clients in a wide variety of industries. Crucial to this mission is the center's development and implementation of leading edge analytics solutions, and nurturing new talent for the center and broader community. The center will serve as an intellectual hub for solutions – uniting clients, analytics Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), researchers, academics, and analytics experts from industry. The candidate for these positions will work on-site at the IBM Client Center in Dublin, OH. The IBM Client Center is an in-bound delivery model where we support our clients from our Dublin, OH center. However, some travel is expected and all candidates must be willing and able to travel to meet our client needs. Travel is typically related to knowledge transfer and training at the client site (Monday through Friday). The candidate is expected to travel approximately 30% of the time. The candidate will not be able to refuse a project assignment based on travel and there are no remote opportunities.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

· Bachelor's Degree
· At least 2 years experience in one of the following fields: mathematics, statistics, operations research, or engineering
· Basic knowledge in Supply Chain modeling software (ILOG Suite, Liamasoft suit, or equivalent)
· Basic knowledge in Supply Chain processes in planning, sourcing, manufacturing, and delivery
· Basic knowledge in Supply Chain network, inventory, and transportation optimization
· Basic knowledge in financial modeling for operational metrics (e.g., Cost-to-Serve, Working Capital, Inventory, Transportation Cost, Warehouse Operations Cost, etc.)
· Basic knowledge in working in teams on client projects
· Readiness to travel Up to 2 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
· English: Intermediate

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

· Master's Degree
· At least 5 years experience in one of the following fields: mathematics, statistics, operations research, or engineering
· At least 3 years experience in Supply Chain modeling software (ILOG Suite, Liamasoft suit, or equivalent)
· At least 3 years experience in Supply Chain processes in planning, sourcing, manufacturing, and delivery
· At least 2 years experience in Supply Chain network, inventory, and transportation optimization
· At least 3 years experience in financial modeling for operational metrics (e.g., Cost-to-Serve, Working Capital, Inventory, Transportation Cost, Warehouse Operations Cost, etc.)
· At least 3 years experience in working in teams on client projects
· English : Fluent
