The IBM Federal Strategic Deal Team is looking for an experienced Business Volume Proposal Manager in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area. The candidate will be responsible for leading the on-time development and production of articulate, compliant, high-quality, multi-million/billion dollar business volume content for highly complex responses to RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, and unsolicited proposals. The candidate must be detail oriented with excellent English, strong interpersonal, computer and organizational skills.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  At least 3 years analyzing RFP requirements, developing compliance matrices, and establishing proposal schedules including all proposal development activities, meetings, document reviews, and approval gate reviews
·  At least 3 years managing teams of staff writers, technical editors, subject matter experts, and business development professionals to produce proposals under tight deadlines that are factually accurate, grammatically correct, and that tell a compelling story
·  At least 3 years experience preparing and conducting proposal kick-offs, and managing and leading daily status reports to capture leadership and team members
·  At least 3 years developing proposal production and delivery plans that minimize risks and provide realistic completion deadlines
·  At least 3 years coordinating and managing review cycles and approval gate review schedule
·  Basic Knowledge of English Language
