1. Primary interface between the business client and IBM delivery teams to ensure successful and seamless transition & transformation project delivery
2. Responsible for exhibiting leadership and form strategic relationships with the client to develop integrated business solutions as per client needs
3. Responsible for managing the business results of the project including contract fulfillment, project plans, milestones, deliverables and financial targets.
4. Planning and Implementation of Cognitive, Cloud, Automation, CAST, Collaboration Hub and cutting edge technologies for project.
5. Responsible for all SLA (Service Level Agreements), SLO (Service Level Objectives) and KPI (Key performance Indicators) for the Transition Projects.
6. Forecast resource requirements; coordinate the hiring, infrastructure and logistics Delivery Managers
7. Defining checkpoints and measuring project variance to ensure projects remain on target within cost and scope commitments
8. Conduct periodic project audits and reviews with project managers and advise necessary actions to steer the project on track, with client and IBM teams
9. Perform risk management, assess project risks in conjunction with the client and develop risk mitigation plans
10. Using Seven Keys, Delivery Accurate and Timely Status reports regarding project status, resource needs, project risks & Issues to Client executives, business managers and project stakeholders
11. Staff/Assign/Recruit Transition Managers to work in the different partitions of the Transition Project. Assign individual Partitions to Transition Managers based on complexity and experience.
12. Monitor utilization for project team members, leverage quality initiatives to improve productivity of team members
13. Optimize cost using IBM's WWGPE (World wide Gross Profit Estimator Tool) ensuring business profitability is met and at the same time reduce client's overhead
14. Perform Due Diligence including Application Assessment through Application Assessment Tool (AAT), Partition Definition & Sequencing through GRSMART tool
15. Direct the Knowledge Transfer Assessment process, review the client feedback and advise on appropriate corrective actions
16. Identifying training needs and carrying out project specific trainings for successful implementation of project
17. Monitor the performance of the partition transition and program managers and drive improvement. Manage risks and issues at the program level and decide on contingencies. Ensure that all Contractual Transition Milestones are achieved on time to avoid penalties
18. Using the IBM Lessons Learned Database to submit the best practices implemented in the project and documentation of Intellectual Capital developed

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Certified PMP with 12 -15 years of IT Project & Delivery Management experience using Agile & Waterfall methodologies, including 5+ years on Complex Project Management, 5+ years of Transition Project Management experience with IBM Transition Methodology & Strong understanding of IBM NexGen Transition Methodology., Strong understanding and experience of IBM Transition Solution tools such as GRSMART,WWGPE etc , Transition Cost Planning & Transition Risks Management. (3-5 yrs), Must have strong understanding of IBM Digital Path way ( Cloud, Micro-services, Blue mix Dev-ops services, Agile@IBM etc) (1-2 yrs)
Cross Sector Delivery Project Management experience in Telecom, Banking & industrial Sectors.(5 to 7 yrs)
Working knowledge and application of IBM Service Management Processes, Metrics Management, CMMI processess, Pre Contract Transition activities (3-5yrs)
