Your Role and Responsibilities

·  PC Infrastructure Support - Supporting the desktop OS, systems, including installation configuration and problem resolution.
Troubleshooting and resolving the issues related to PC, Printer, TFT Network equipment’s (L3) and other office automation/ Communication products.Follow-up with Service Center for support on Samsung H/W problem resolution.
·  PC & Network Infrastructure - Maintain database of the various vendors with details like contact person, telephone numbers, escalation matrix & SLA commitments for assets in use.Log calls with vendors incase of any H/W issue.Coordinate with the vendors and track the problems till it gets resolved. Escalate if required.Preventive Maintenance of Devices at all locations. Preventive Maintenance of Devices at all locations.
·  Assets procurement - Procurement of Assets and Releasing Purchase Order to Vendor. Follow-up with vendor for Comissioning and configuration. Follow-up withe Finance for payment.
·  Asset Recording/ Management - Updation of Serial No. & Asset Description in SAP. Asset Transfer/ Writeoff/ Split through internal system. Manage IMAC.
Installation of Asset Management tool in each machines and Assets Monitoring.Ensuring records of all new machines installed, movement of machines within site (Gatepass), changes and configuration of machines with the help of asset management tool.
·  Asset Verification Support - Half Yearly Asset Verification support - Physical Assets Vs. SAP Assets verification.
·  Web conference and Video - Scheduling and support users during Conference. User training.
·  Software Rationalization - Ensuring/ Supporting Software Compliance by uninstalling unlicensed software. Installation of AntiVirus Software in all PCs.
·  AntiVirus / Patch Management - Monitoring Logs/ Signature file upation to avoid virus attacks. Managing AV Console and Policies. Addressing APT alerts raised by Samsung IT Security. Ensure PATCH management.
·  AD Management - Configuration and Troubleshooting
·  Reporting - Monthly Reporting - PC Infra H/W, Asset Updation on Asset Portal.
·  E-mail, mobile-email & Messenger - Support on issues related to Email. Liasion with Admin team in resolving issues at user's end. Configure Mobile email for users in region.
·  Basic Systems, Policies and Mysingle - Provide first hand training to users in region on basic systems, SAP, Email and asset related policies. Understand business needs and support user teams in implementation of new project.
·  New Project, New Site/ Site Movement support - Cowork with IBM & Samsung team in analyzing the new site. Cowork with Network team in getting Link feasibility check. Coordinate LAN cabling, Network configuration of new site and support shifting of IT Infrastructure.
·  Toner Support and Inventory - Toner stock management and disposal.
